Start with power, network and a stable image
The complete SC1000 and SC2000 quick start is maintained with the technical documentation. This article explains its sequence and scope.
Steps in the quick start
Connect power and networking through PoE or 24 V and configure a fixed IP address. Open SCMVS and verify the live image first. Then add a short inspection sequence, such as location followed by measurement or presence checking. Define trigger, ready, result and reset before completing machine control.
Available inspection tools
The SCMVS manual covers the smart-camera software. For applications with multiple cameras or central processing, VisionMaster provides graphical configuration and an SDK.
When a PC platform fits better
A PC platform becomes relevant when multiple cameras share logic, many images must be retained, specialist algorithms are required or vision becomes part of broader machine software. Compare these requirements under Smart camera or PC-based vision and review the available cameras.
