Industrial code reading and identification overlays
Application · Traceability

Codes that survive the line — and still get read.

Damaged, low-contrast or partly hidden 1D/2D codes and OCR at production speed. Sedeco selects optics, lighting and readers so identification is a decision you can trust.

When identification is the bottleneck

Traceability fails when codes are hard to see: laser-etched DPM on metal, curved packaging, glare, motion blur, or ink that barely contrasts. We design the optical path and the decode stack together — so the PLC gets a reliable pass/fail and a string you can store.

1D & 2D

Barcodes, Data Matrix, QR and proprietary formats at line speed.

DPM & tough codes

Direct part marks on metal, plastic and cast surfaces.

OCR / OCV

Readable print verification — presence, quality and content.

Select · Detect · Control

How Sedeco makes codes operational

We match the reader to the surface, verify decode rate under real takt, and close the loop to your machine.

01 · Select

Right reader

Camera or smart reader, lens and lighting for the mark and the motion.

02 · Detect

Stable decode

Reliable 1D/2D and OCR under dirt, tilt and speed variation.

03 · Control

Closed loop

Result to PLC, MES or reject station — with logging when you need it.
