Hikrobot SC5000 smart camera for demanding inspections
The SC5000 is the new flagship series in the Hikrobot smart camera range. It combines image acquisition, VisionMaster processing and industrial communication for inspection directly on the production line.
The VisionMaster platform provides more than 140 algorithms. Deep-learning functions support applications including OCR, object recognition and defect detection. Results can be shared with the machine or PLC through digital I/O and supported industrial protocols.
The 50 configurations offer resolutions from approximately 2 to 12 megapixels, monochrome or colour, and M12, D14 or C-mount. Depending on the model, fixed optics, a liquid lens or interchangeable C-mount optics are available. The housing provides IP67 protection when correctly installed.
The right configuration depends on the field of view, smallest feature, working distance, speed and machine interface. Sedeco can help select the camera, optics and lighting and assess feasibility using representative products or sharp test images.
