Diameter
Available outer diameters run from 45 mm to 230 mm. Check the selected SKU’s bore diameter against the lens and mounting parts. Also verify that the illuminated area covers the complete field of view at the intended working distance.

Selection question
A ring light places illumination close to the optical axis, but the result still depends on object shape, surface finish, camera position and working distance. An unsuitable diameter or irradiation angle can leave the inspection area uneven or return direct reflections into the lens.
The 139 MV-LRDS SKUs are a sparse set of existing combinations. Start with the mechanical fit around the lens and required illuminated area. Use irradiation angle to match the object geometry, then choose white, red or blue from measured camera contrast. The specification table retains bore diameter, best working distance, center illuminance and power for the selected SKU.

The listed combinations use angles from 0° to 90°. Angle changes the direction in which light reaches the surface and therefore changes shadowing and reflection behaviour. Confirm the result on real parts instead of selecting by angle alone.
White models specify 6000–7500 K. Red models specify 630 nm and blue models 460 nm. The useful choice depends on material color, camera sensitivity, filters and the contrast required by the inspection.
Not every diameter, angle and color combination exists. The selector only shows the 139 manufactured SKUs; it does not generate unavailable combinations.
Evaluate illumination with the final lens, camera settings and representative products. Record the setup so that maintenance can reproduce it.
Use measured inspection data to estimate the effect of the lighting change.

No. The buyer axis is the ring light’s outer diameter. Use the Bore diameter specification for the central opening and verify it against the lens and mounting hardware.
Use the angle as a starting point for how light reaches the surface. Object shape, working distance and surface finish determine the actual shadow and reflection pattern, so test the intended geometry with real parts.
Red at 630 nm or blue at 460 nm can change contrast between colored materials and may be combined with an optical filter. The result depends on the object spectrum and camera sensitivity; compare captured images rather than choosing from color names alone.
Only when the specified working-distance condition and geometry are comparable. Illuminance changes with distance and illuminated area. Confirm exposure and uniformity in the final setup.
MV-LRDS is a sparse manufactured range rather than a full matrix. The selector retains the 139 existing SKUs and does not create combinations that are absent from the Hikrobot range.
Check outer and bore diameter, irradiation angle, color or wavelength, best working distance, center illuminance, power, connector type and cable length. Also verify mounting, controller compatibility and the image result on representative parts.
